USS TAUTOG (SS-199) The Terrible T Id'ed Sub Group to MM

Right out of the woodwork. Picker called me and asked if I would be interested. Not my area of interest, but I thought this was cool stuff. Many more loose photos - No uniforms. When I was leaving he told me the "rest of the group" was in his garage and came from the same estate. You can't make this stuff up! And oh by the way, do you want some female Navy stuff? Fun way to spend a rainy day.

Enjoy - DJ

There is plenty more stuff to this group, more paper discharge docs, Neptune Rex Cert. larger ships photos, etc.

This was "the rest of the group"

Very cool with sub photos of their kill flag and the many crewmembers with their names and portrait shots in jumpers and awards

Great find Dennis!

OK, here's something interesting. The only people wearing the SN/Seaman/S 1/c / Seaman First Class stripes before 1949 were WAVES. Those are the white patches with the three dark blue diagonal stripes. Great group by the way
