Championhilz Posted October 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2007 I picked up this image today at an antique show in Jackson, Mississippi - it is of Seaman Apprentice Johnnie Felska, and it is dated 1944 on the back. Note the silver shield on his sleeve denoting service as an enlisted sailor in the Coast Guard - officers had a Gold shield on their uniforms.
