Task Force Odin patches

Got a set of TF Odin patches last week and after I had looked at them for a while I realized there are a lot of details on them. First of all, here’s a link with some information on the unit and also a clearer picture of the insignia where it’s possible to see all the details:

Odin is one of the old Norse gods and on the patch you can see him ride his eight legged horse Sleipner, carrying his spear Gungne. His two ravens, Hugin and Munin, can be seen in the shape of the two unmanned aerial vehicles on the patch and also his two wolves, Gere and Freke, are there. Odin rules Valhalla, where every warrior that fall in combat goes to, and is the God of War. I really like this patch.

I recently picked up one of the full color ones. It still has the hook and loop backing part on it so I don't think it was ever used.

 

It really is a well designed patch.
