Hello,
I have bought this magazine, the seller swears it is a WWII model, but I always thought the WWII model has only numbers on the bottom and they are in 1 line... has 2 "rivets" on each side of the bottom.. Please, which era is this magazine?
Thank you for help!
Frankie

Looks newer to me, but wait for the experts. I do know that WWII contract mags have one letter (L, S, and R if I remember...) stamped on the upper side of the floor plate's lip. Unless you know what you are looking for, they look unmarked. I got three of those contract mags at an auction with a WWII holster, and the fourth mag had a single line of numbers on the bottom like you're talking about.

Not WW2.....I'd say 60's or later. I haven't handled alot of the post WW2 stuff so I can't say exactly as to when, but definitely not WW2.

Absolutely correct. 1960's. NOT WWII.

I have several of those magazines. When I got them they were NIW and the packaging was dated in the mid 1980s.
