kellermaxe Posted September 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2007 Hey Guys, I wanted to share my new favorite uniform! This was given to me as a gift by a very dear friend of mine! The jacket is early post war and has the troopers laundry code but I did not try to research him yet. The cap does not belong to the uniform and is put together. I'm sorry for the bad picture. Hope you guys enjoy Max
KurtA Posted September 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 22, 2007 Max- With the style chevrons it has, it would date from 1951 or later. Kurt

GIl Sanow Posted September 23, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 23, 2007 Especially since its an M-1950 Ike jacket. I was thinking that by then the CIB would probably have been worn over the para wings. What I see here is WW2 style with wings over ribbons and CIB on pocket flap. Never saw Q badge worn that low. Brian Keith Posted September 24, 2007 Share #5 Posted September 24, 2007 Ribbon bar is attached backwards, the Good Conduct rates higer than the campaign and WW II victory. Vet could have done that himself, common error. Nice looking. Thanks for posting the photo. BKW
